This was taken during our ascend to Rainbow Mountain at an elevation of 17,000 feet near Cusco, Peru. The colors of the rocks and sand portray years of erosion and thus got the name "Rainbow Mountain."
Playa del Carmen in Mexico
It was during a somewhat windy day near Playa del Carmen that we captured this image. Not many people were actually in the water or on the beach so we had the whole beach to ourselves except for some onlookers nearby who were curious to see what we were doing. Nonetheless it was a quick shoot as the winds had picked up and the drone was getting a bit out of whack.
Golden Gate Bridge Glorified
One of the very first drone images I edited and literally spent three hours on this one alone. But well worth the time and energy because it remains one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge from that particular overhead angle.
Sunset at Anantara Dhigu
Nothing more enchanting than watching a beautiful sunset disappear behind the Indian Ocean at the magnificent Anantara Dhigu Resort in Maldives Islands.
Maldives Paradise From Above
Shown here are the overwater bungalows at Anantara Dhigu Resort in Maldives Islands surrounding by ever so present turquoise waters. And yes the waters were really THAT blue.
San Francisco Ferry Building
This was one of our first trials of night photos taken with the Inspire 1 along San Francisco's pier, Embarcadero, and ferry building. What makes this capture all too sweeter is the Bay Bridge showing off it's luminescent lights in the background.
Arabian Nights Village
During our visit to the United Arab of Emirates we spent one night at the cozy Arabian Nights Village about two hours from Abu Dhabi, in the middle of the desert land.
Shanghai's Financial District
Shanghai is a very beautiful architecturally designed metropolis which consist of old and new Shanghai. Here we flew out during the sunset over Shanghai during the blue hour. Due to smog and fog we weren't able to catch the sunset but we still were able to admire the city's "blue hour" evening glow.
During our three month honeymoon we made a pitstop to the world famous Maldive Islands and it was no surprise that the views were absolutely breathtaking from start to finish, especially when viewed from above.
Ghirardelli Square Happenings
During a not-so-busy- weekend we headed over to the Ghirardelli Square, overlooking the San Francisco Bay during a foggy sunset. The weather was a bit chilly as expected during that time of the year and we managed to finish two sets of batteries for this city shoot.
San Francisco Starlight
One of the highlights of our San Francisco drone collage was this blue hour view of the downtown financial district with the changing colors of pink and purple evening lights as the city is preparing it's night time glow.
Farmland in Iceland
We spent a night here at this lovely horse ranch Hestheimar during our weeklong road trip through Iceland and loved these beautiful furnished cabins which were well stocked and cleaned upon arrival. The next day we were able to take a flyby of the property and the cabins from above.
As we made a one day stop in Athens in Greece we were able to fly the drone over the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Acropolis and captured this vivid image from above with a turmoil of clouds hovering above.
During our road trip through the Western and Southern parts of Iceland, we drove to the coast near Dyrhólaey and captured these gorgeous images of the large formations of of volcanic rocks in the sea.
Maldives Island Time
During our honeymoon we stayed in one of these luxury over water bungalows and the views when you wake up are just like in a movie only better. The atmosphere is so romantic, peaceful, and quiet that it's hard not to fall in love here.
Solheimasandur Plane Wreck
To get from the parking lot along Route 1 to the popular tourist site of the Solheimasandur Plane Wreck you have to be prepared to walk at least 45 mins to get to the site of the plane crash on the Solheimasandur beach. The crash happened in 1973 when a United States Navy crew supposingly ran out of fuel and was forced to make a crash landing there. Instead of walking all the way we decided to send in the drone to do the photo bidding for us. Turned out to be a pretty well decision after all.
By far, the most surreal and stunning landscapes and sceneries we have seen, were in Iceland out of all places. It still hold a top spot in our hearts for being one of the best vacations of all time. Yes, it was THAT good!
Hiking in Sedona
A must-see visit is to Arizona's magical town Sedona, which unsurprisingly probably on the number one list of everyone's Great American road trip adventure. With so many great hiking trails to choose from, everyone will be sure to have seen something that catches their eyes. This picture was taken from the parking lot of the Fay Canyon Trail during Spring break.
We drove through Monument Valley in the spring time were greeted with very pleasant weather all around which made these stunning aerial shots possible from above.
